You may have heard that drinking coffee increases your chance at heart failure, however, new research says this is NOT TRUE.

Researchers found that those who regularly drink coffee are no more likely to develop heart failure than people who infrequently drink coffee.

Heat failure is a chronic condition in which the heart muscle is weakened and can’t pump blood efficiently enough to meet all the body’s needs.

In 2001, there was concern that heavy coffee drinking might lead to heart failure. Based on this study, a recent statement from the American Heart Association noted that coffee consumption might raise the risk of heart failure, but also that more research would be needed to confirm this statement.

Today, researchers have found no clear relationship between reported coffee intake and risk of developing heart failure.

The studies has not included women, so there is a possibility it could be different, however this is very unlikely.
